relatively high mileage oil has been pumped thats around the valves on the wheel when it is parked installed, and then filtered by the valve guide so that a little smoke at startup, you can also complained of damage to the cylinder plug, not worry not sure why my XV1100 has happened in the last 10,000 miles, take just a plug n clean wire brush.

Gosh, I do not remember the left or right. My bike was lost in the rear cylinder and the absence of reflux, if the oil level in the sump is too high. Check your oil level. If it is too high, let out a little oil.

Furthermore, it is time to replace or clean the air filter, then do so.

You run a compression check your roles? Perhaps this is a better idea of what should be happening.
The right cylinder is definitely more and more oil in the mixture.
Good horse.
